Look Good Feel Better is a cancer support charity that offers free well-being classes and workshops for those living with cancer. We first partnered with them at the end of 2022 to help promote their annual fundraising netball tournament, held in partnership with England Netball. The event gives amateur and experienced netball players the chance to come together to play and receive professional coaching while raising money for the charity.

LGFB wanted us to help raise awareness of the annual tournament and encourage people to sign up to participate. We devised a social media strategy that included influencer marketing and social media advertising to complement the organic content we created for them to share across their channels.

Our main goal with paid social was to encourage teams to sign up to participate in the tournament. We created images and videos with motion graphics which were used within an engagement campaign to drive awareness. These went out to a cold broad audience within a certain radius of The University of Warwick, the tournament's venue. We also trialed a lead generation objective to encourage sign-ups, which drove 80 leads overall.

We managed PR and digital marketing to help widen our reach further. We secured coverage in multiple online and print publications including Yahoo Finance and Warrington Guardian. We also organised an interview on sports podcast SportSpiel for England Netball star Nat Panagarry who spoke about her wife's journey with cancer, LGFB, and the tournament.

Our outreach work focussed on sharing information with digital communities such as local Facebook groups, Reddit threads, and other relevant websites to increase the tournament's exposure. This led to the event being listed in multiple What's On guides for the area.

Alongside the tournaments, we manage and create engaging content for LGFB's social media platforms year-round.

The work you have all done on our social media platforms and more recently on generating beneficiary and volunteer leads has been nothing short of staggering... The energy, quality of the content and the overall visibility of LGFB... is something [we] have never seen before.
